About the Festival
The Roads Taken Film Festival is a one-day screening programme featuring six short films by directors from different countries. While people always consider road movie is an American art form, it’s actually a popular genre around the globe. It can be an adventure that embrace and celebrate the eternally restless self, or a journey of searching for an identity, or a trip of self-discovery. This festival hopes to offer to the audience a breakaway from their routine daily life and embark a journey that is full of possibilities. About Us We are a group of students from the University of Hong Kong. This film festival is a project for the comparative literature course 'New' Cinemas across National Boundaries. |
